For those who care, this is regarding my earlier post about coil pack rubber portion size differences. I found out they are in fact different parts and not just enlarged by oil/fuel. I think they can change and weaken by fuel/oil exposure, but not enlarge to the extent here. Looked closer at the rubber part today. (Received replacement.) Large part numbers on both read 3221. But there is a subset of numbers on each part that is in smaller "font" that I did not initially see. On the bigger rubber part it reads 3a-4 and on the smaller rubber part 3a-3. So they are in fact different parts. Duh, (smacks forehead.) If you saw the comparison pictures, it was hard to believe the difference was entirely from becoming enlarged. Softening up and tearing due to fuel/oil exposure, yes. Enlarging perfectly and linearly in all portions, no.
